STRAWBERRY PASSION FRUIT FIZZ

I've always enjoyed making pretty cocktails. It makes me feel fancier than I actually am. ;) With one of America's favorite holidays only a week away, I thought I'd mix up a festive cocktail, just in time for the Fourth of July.

INGREDIENTS/SUPPLIES

  • strawberry simple syrup (recipe here)
  • vodka
  • juice from one whole lime
  • a handful of ice
  • passion fruit lacroix
  • cocktail shaker
  • whole strawberries (for garnish)

INSTRUCTIONS

Begin by combining the syrup, lime juice, and vodka in the shaker. Shake until evenly mixed, then pour into a glass, filling a quarter of the way. Open a can of the passion fruit lacroix and fill the glass the rest of the way, adding ice if desired.

And there you have it! It's actually an insanely simple cocktail that all the guests at your Fourth of July picnic will love! It also tastes great as a mocktail, with the vodka removed - very light and refreshing. To tie the whole ordeal together, hand out a few DIY washi tape drink stirrers to each of your attendees so they can sip in style. Cheers!
