Bronze is made of copper and tin.  It has a wonderful warm hue very similar 14K gold.

It is extremely durable and lasts forever.

Bronze will develop a patina over time when exposed to the elements. Some people prefer the color slightly darker, however if you prefer the lighter finish then keeping it in a small jewelry bag or in a jewelry box away from humidity is best. I like the addition of an anti-tarnish stripe easily purchased online. You can also regularly use a polishing cloth to keep it bright. I find simply cleaning it frequently with warm water and a drop of dishwashing soap keeps the jewelry bright.  Oxidation forming is harmless and completely natural.  I find simply cleaning it frequently with warm water and a drop of dishwashing soap keeps the jewelry bright.

Using any jewelry cleaner is fine too, there are many recipes online for natural methods of cleaning metal. eg. Baking soda, lemon and even ketchup. Rinsing and drying completely after any cleaning is very important.

Perfumes and chemicals in hand lotions or cleaning products, chlorine in pools and hot tubes or the salts in the sea can cause some staining on your jewelry or discoloration and should be avoided. No worries if this occurs, it can be easily cleaned or polished off.

Rest assured, no matter what your jewelry can always be restored to its original luster with some attention and care.

I find it best to have your bronze rings just loose enough to get a little air under them, however tight enough that they stay on your finger!

Some people find that their rings leave a mark or oxidation on their skin. This is harmless and natural. Sometimes this occurs when you first receive your ring and it is freshly made. Overtime some have reported their natural oils "sealed" the internal space of the ring.

If the marking is bothersome you may paint clear nail polish on the inside of the band.
