Our brick & mortar shop at 98 Baker Street, Maplewood NJ is temporarily closed. We are only taking online orders at the moment:

- SOMA friends, spend at least $30, choose local delivery (you must live in South Orange or Maplewood) and we’ll drive and deliver your goodies to your door for free. Orders must be received by 2pm in order to qualify for next day delivery. (Excluding weekends and holidays)
- Live in NJ but not in South Orange or Maplewood? Spend $50 and up and first class shipping is free!
- Out-of-state friends, business as usual, we’ll continue shipping as long as USPS/UPS keep running!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

RETURN & EXCHANGE POLICY
All special orders, pre-orders, discounted and sale items are final sale. No returns/exchanges/refunds can be applied.
*** Refunds will only be issued for full priced items. ***
FULL-PRICED items purchased from MEUS may be returned only within 14 days of receipt, provided they are returned unused and in their original condition. All returns require authorization and must accompany a return authorization number. Please email email@example.com for a return authorization. Returns must be postmarked within 14 days of the original ship date. Shipping costs are non-refundable and return shipping is the responsibility of the customer, except in the case of damaged goods.
Fragrances, candles, and beauty/apothecary are final sale.
We recommend packages be returned via traceable carrier and insured to the full amount of the merchandise. We are not responsible for lost returns or if the item is damaged in the mail. Once items have been received, you will receive a refund (minus the cost of shipping). Please allow one week for processing from the point at which we receive the returned item(s).
We have the right to deny a credit if any returned items do not meet our return policy requirements.
Once we receive your return, please allow 2-3 business days for your return to be processed and then 5-10 business days for your bank to post the refund to your account. Your refund will be credited to the same card used to make the original purchase. We’ll send you an email once we have processed your refund.
We are unable to offer exchanges at this time, but if you need to exchange for another size or item, please place a new order on line and return your original order for a refund (as specified above).
SHIPPING & HANDLING
Shipping Rates within the U.S.
Shipping and handling charges are calculated based on the weight of the items being shipped. We ship to U.S. addresses via USPS Priority Mail (Tracked). Orders placed Monday through Friday will ship within 3-5* business days of purchase, excluding weekends and holidays. If delays are expected with your order, you will be contacted via email. Please note that additional shipping time is required during our promotional sales events.
Free standard continental U.S. shipping on orders of $75+. Select the FREE (standard) option. Valid on shipments to the continental U.S. only. Free standard shipping valid on purchases of $75 or more before shipping, handling and taxes are added. Terms of offer are subject to change.
Choose the free local pickup "shipping" option during checkout and You can stop in and pick up your order from our shop at 98 Baker Street in Maplewood NJ. You will receive an email within 48 hours once your order is ready for pickup.
International Shipping Rates & Policies
We currently ship internationally via USPS Priority International/Insured for a flat rate of $50 unless otherwise specified. We offer Canada shipping that is based on weight and ships First Class. If your country is not listed, please send us an e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will get back to you with a shipping quote. Please note that Priority International delivery can occasionally take up to 14 business days. Because of conditions outside of our control once a parcel leaves the US and enters into International customs, we are unable to guarantee its delivery date. We are not responsible for any sales tax, local tariffs and customs charges.
We would be happy to include a brief note along with your gift. Simply leave us a message in the "notes" field at checkout or send us an email with the message that you would like to include, shortly after placing your order.
SOLD OUT ITEMS
Most of our stock are from makers who produce in small batches. Some items are one of a kind and will often sell out quickly. Please sign up to be included in our mailing list (form at the bottom of the site) in order to learn about new product releases. You can also sign up to be notified once a specific product is restocked, just fill out the form on the product's sold out page.
LOST, UNCLAIMED AND RETURNED & UNDELIVERABLE PACKAGES
We do not refund postage for lost, unclaimed or undeliverable packages. We cannot replace merchandise or provide refunds for items that are shipped to the wrong address if the address provided to us is no longer your address or if you provided the wrong address during checkout.
If an unclaimed parcel is returned to us, we can reprocess the order by sending out a payment request for the shipping fee. The parcel will ship out upon receipt of the shipping fee payment. Alternatively, we could cancel the order and process a refund for the full purchase price of the item excluding shipping costs.
All prices are in US Dollars. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover and PayPal.

MEUS respects your privacy and takes great care to safeguard all customer data. Your personal information and order history will never be disclosed or sold to a third party.
Sales tax will apply to residents of New Jersey.
